Where Legacy Meets the Digital Endeavours
Some stories start with a blank page. Ours started with a pixel.
The brand Emageon started as a name that connoted precision, the type that allowed physicians to see what was important. Now the same precision is driving another mission, to help you look beyond the hype of the technological world. We are not another blog that measures up to headlines. We are a magazine that relies on an underpinning of solid engineering, real experience in the enterprise, and a sincere interest in the future of technology.
Our Legacy
Emageon was founded in 1998 as a leader in the development of state-of-the-art clinical visualization, digital medical imaging and enterprise healthcare IT. We served large multi-hospital networks and clinics throughout the United States, over a decade, in the process of implementing our systems to enable physicians to encode and decode complex 2D and 3D data to better patient outcomes and smoother clinical processes.
Throughout our philosophy at our core never changed: transforming complex digital data into actionable intelligence. The same principle that we use to direct all articles today (which we did in operating rooms and in server rooms) is the same principle that informs every article that we publish.
Emageon Today
We began as an enterprise software company and have become a leading provider of digital publications and research. Clinical imaging has broadened into the broad horizons of the modern technology, and our dedication to depth, precision and to relevance to the real world has not been diminished.
Our focus is on five key foundations of the tech economy in the world:
Digital Health & BioTech: remembering our own heritage by reporting on healthcare programs, medical SaaS, and wellness technology.
Frontier AI and DeepTech: understanding the algorithms, generative systems, and systems for developer-programmable software that will form the next industrial revolution.
Cloud Ecosystems and SecOps: demystifying the current security architecture, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices.
Tech Ventures & Fintech: monitoring digital economies, payment technologies, and the capital that fuels startups around the world.
Smart Tech & Gadgetry: Watching the consumer software and hardware that influence the day-to-day.
Be it the dynamics of the enterprise-level or the recent consumer devices, Emageon provides a multi-decade dedication to technological brilliance to each tale we narrate.
Why Read Emageon?
We are eager regarding the emerging trends in technology and we desire other people with the same sentiment to be as engaged and involved as well. In our opinion, good technological journalism ought to sound like a discussion with a person who has actually made that thing which they are writing about. And that is what we aim to do, clear explanations, truthful analysis, and no fluff. No recycled press releases, no hype, hype. Insight you can actually apply, whether it’s as a founder, as a developer, as a clinician, or as someone who merely just loves to know what technology will do next.
