HeartSuite VERICIS®
For Nuclear Cardiology

Nuclear cardiology studies provide a unique view of cardiac performance and are a key diagnostic component of cardiology patient care. The challenge facing those who need this vital information is how to integrate it more fully into the cardiovascular disease management process.

HeartSuite VERICIS® for Nuclear Cardiology is the answer. It integrates nuclear cardiology studies into the patient’s digital cardiovascular record by means of an efficient and affective information management architecture that consolidates multi-modality cardiac images and information across the continuum of cardiovascular care.

Study Review
Nuclear medicine images, raw and processed, are instantly available on HeartSuite VERICIS Cardiac Workstations throughout the hospital. The Workstation supports multiple color palettes and forward, reverse, yo-yo and “show all” play functions. Single static, multi-static, single motion, multi-image motion and orthogonal views are also supported.

Onto the network and into the patient’s record
HeartSuite VERICIS for Nuclear Cardiology integrates your nuclear cardiology studies into the patient’s digital integrated cardiovascular record, enabling instant access to this data. Here’s how:

Networking. Using either the native DICOM protocol or a protocol translator that converts proprietary data to DICOM, the system acquires raw and processed nuclear studies and transmits them across the HeartSuite VERICIS network.

Viewing. The studies are instantly available throughout the hospital via the HeartSuite VERICIS Cardiac Workstation. Clinicians can evaluate splash or full-motion images in the viewing format recommended by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. The multi-study viewer facilitates clinical correlations of functional and anatomical studies by enabling side-by-side comparison of nuclear studies with angiographic data or images from other networked modalities.

Reporting. Using the HeartSuite VERICIS Web-based Clinical Reporting application, the clinician can quickly review studies, generate a report, and distribute the report network-wide—all in a single session. This reporting tool combines an intuitive user interface with a knowledge base developed in conjunction with leading nuclear cardiologists.
