Being at the forefront of digital echo systems, HeartSuite VERICIS is compatible with many different models of ultrasound carts from nearly every manufacturer. Studies may be acquired via the VERICIS Cardiac Acquisition Unit for Echo (CA-E), or via a DICOM data stream directly from the echo system manufacturer. Thus HeartSuite allows customers to leverage investments made in current cart technology as well as be strongly positioned to invest in new technology from any ultrasound vendor going forward.
The VERICIS CA-E acquires complete studies – with synchronized audio – enabling sonographers to record the precise amount of information required by the clinical situation. Unlike the case with some DICOM outputs, the HeartSuite full-disclosure recording allows total flexibility of acquisition allowing digital capture of all patient studies including those that may require longer loops, such as patients with irregular heartbeats, stress studies, pediatric cases, TEEs, and vascular studies.
The VERICIS CA-E allows your department to “go live” immediately since existing clinical protocols can be retained. No significant retraining of sonographers is required and there’s no lengthy transition period.
In addition, HeartSuite VERICIS provides:

Each digital copy is identical, with no degradation in quality from the original. Studies exchanged among physicians or used for quality assurance, educational or research purposes can be viewed on a standard PC but have the same high quality seen on the HeartSuite VERICIS Cardiac Workstation.
Immediate access to patient data—from anywhere
HeartSuite VERICIS provides immediate access to all studies – both in-house and from remote sites – for review, diagnosis and reporting. Prior patient studies and reports are automatically pre-fetched from archive enabling instant side-by-side comparison with current data. Authorized clinicians can also securely access studies and reports via the Web from virtually any PC within the hospital, or from their homes or offices.
HeartSuite VERICIS has a media-independent design with multiple data storage options, including mid-term storage that makes tens of thousands of studies accessible within seconds. And because all studies are part of a searchable database, busy clinicians can quickly find the information they need.

The HeartSuite VERICIS Cardiac Workstation enables real-time review of diagnostic-quality, multi-modality cardiovascular images and information. It’s among the most popular dedicated cardiac workstations, with more than 7,000 in use. Sophisticated features include:
